Casa Lumen

A lakeside residence composed around a single gesture: daylight as the primary building material.

Casa Lumen is not decorated — it is calibrated. Every aperture, threshold and surface was positioned to let the lake's light travel through the plan in slow, deliberate sequences, so the house reads differently at each hour of the day.

We restrained the palette to travertine, oiled oak and lime plaster. What remains is rhythm: stone meeting plaster at exact joints, oak absorbing sound, and shadow doing the ornamentation.

The house does not perform for the landscape. It simply holds it — frame by frame, hour by hour.
